WEEKLY BREAKFAST MEETINGS
These take place every Tuesday at the Lansdowne Hotel, King Edwards Parade, Eastbourne,
from 7am until 8.30am.
Admission: £8.50, cash on the door or by standing order of £31.00 per month
As numbers are limited, please contact the Office if you wish to attend.
LAST FRIDAY LUNCHES
The Chamber's Last Friday Lunches offer another form of networking. These lunches are held on the last Friday of each month (not surprisingly!) unless there is another major lunch event already planned for the same month.

AIRBOURNE LUNCH -

140 Members enjoyed an excellent lunch and cream tea at the Eastbourne Centre, Grand Parade with prime viewing of the wonderful flying displays of Eastbourne's Airbourne Event.
A number of members had generously donated raffle prizes for the occasion and the grand sum of more than £700 was raised and divided between Airbourne and St Wilfrid's Hospice.
ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

This year the competion for the Chamber Golf Trophy was held on Friday 11th June at Seaford Golf Club (Blatchington). Starting with breakfast from 11.30am, there was a two tee start from 1pm.
68 Golfers took part and the Eastbourne Chamber Trophy was won by the Sussex Downs College Team.
Proceeds of the evening raffle -£555.00 - for a charity chosen by one of the golfers went
to St Wilfrid's Hospice.
Frances Lewis a Director from St Wilfrid’s Hospice said
‘This donation could not be better timed. With excitement continuing to grow around the proposed new site on which to build the much needed new Hospice, in these economic times funding of the specialist services St Wilfrid’s provides has never been more challenging. On behalf of all the patients and staff at the hospice may I extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who participated in the golf day and of course to all the members of the Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce'.

Hosted by Eastbourne & District Chamber of Commerce, this event was sponsored by Mayo Wynne Baxter, Solicitors.
Chamber Members from as far afield as Chichester, Worthing, East Grinstead, Crawley, Uckfield and Hastings converged on Eastbourne for the third Joint Chamber Networking Lunch.
The occasion provided agreat opportunity to make new contacts and network with business people across Sussex.
Guest Speaker : Chris Piper, Agent for the Bank of England Agency for Central Southern England.
